NU was up 48-43 with about 30 seconds left. Looks like NU won over KSU. That would mean KSU, ISU and Texas are all tied for fourth with 8-5 records. So why is ISU listed ahead of Texas since both have 8-5 Big 12 records and are 20-7 for the season? Texas beat them so one would think the Horns would be ranked ahead. Doesn't matter since we own the tie breaker. We also catch KSU on the road. But first Texas needs to take care of Baylor Saturday.
Yeah, i don't get that tie w/ISU either BabHorn. But, you're right...if we stay at the same record with them (even though the rest of their schedule is SOFT), we win the head to head over them.
thanks to Nebraska for knocking off K-State! Lehning didn't start the game, but i think she did play. i haven't seen a box score to see how many minutes she played.
and i'm not exactly sure about how they list the standings, but it's possible that they just list the teams in alpha order if they have the exact same conference and overall record.
well, I'm not sure that the Aggies will lose more than one more game. But the Horns have the fourth spot in their hands. Even with a loss to OU or Baylor they still have a good shot at getting the fourth spot if they win two of the next three. Win all three and they will have the tie breaker against KSU and ISU.
ouch is right. i didn't see that beat down coming. i thought Tech would put up a better fight.
we are still in good shape for the 4 seed in the tourney. we would have been in great shape if we had just taken care of OSU at home (yup, still not over that loss, ugghhh). but that's in the past. gotta take care of Baylor this weekend.
"and I'm not exacty sure about how they list the standing, but it's possible that they just list the teams in alpha order if they have the exact same conference and overall record"
That is exactly right!
