me too!! it was great to see the Big 12 mens teams sweep the 1st round.

i think the womens' teams can definitely go 6-0. today's games (Texas and K-State) will probably be the closest match-ups. i don't see any upsets happening in Sunday's games.
 
A&M beat Evansville 80-45. the aggies almost had 3 players score 20 points...Gant had 21, Smith had 20, and Starks had 19.

they will face the winner of the Notre Dame/Minnesota game that's coming up next. i'm sure they're rooting for Minnesota to pull off the upset, because i doubt they want to play ND on their home floor.

Baylor survives in OT to beat UTSA, 87-82.

I didn't get to see all the game but from what I saw UTSA had a couple of very good guards. Goes to show how much talent there is out there that UTSA has two players that Baylor had so much trouble stopping.
 
I was thinking they would be a good team to play pre-season, I think.

We need to test ourselves early this year, and not play a whole lot of people we can roll over....JMHO...

Monica Gibbs played high school basketball in Stillwater, OK. She has been at UTSA since her freshman year of college.
