UCLA within 5 at the half (36-31 OSU). OSU's Jensen got into foul trouble in the 2Q and had to sit. OSU's offense started to stall. Should be a good 2nd half.

UCLA came back strong in the second quarter, drains a three at the buzzer to go into the half only down five.

OSU missed too many layups and made too many TOs to allow UCLA back into the game.

What is the story on Godwin? She has been lighting it up. She is a transfer but don’t know details. Jensen is a wonderful post and they appear to have other significant contributors. With UCLA beating Baylor then getting beat by OSU, maybe there IS a new sheriff this year. Hope it is Horns and not OSU or WV.

wow, OU is going to upset # 16 South Florida 79-74. Gabby Ortiz was red hot from BTA, hitting 8-12 treys. OU hit some clutch FTs at the end to hold the Bulls. Even though, they had trouble from the FT line, hitting just over 53%, OU made more FTs than USF attempted.

Good win for OU. that should take a bit of heat of the Sooners and Coach Coale.

that's it for the Big 12 until five games tomorrow.

Two big wins by OSU and OU over ranked teams. Sunday's premier game is Texas vs Tenn at 2 PM. :hookem3:

A brief history of Goodwin's career: She has moved around but has been very effective.
2012-13 @ North Texas-Sun Belt Freshman of the year; Averaged 13.1 points per game and broke the school’s record for most 3-pointers with 64; Led the Sun Belt and was second nationally among freshmen with 83 steals
2014-15 @ Butler, HM All Big East; leading scorer at 15.6 points per game
2016-17: @ UTSA Conf. USA
Newcomer of the Year;
first-team all-conference pick and all-academic selection; Led the squad in scoring at 17.5 points, assists (4.5) and steals (3.0) per game
2017-18 @ OSU: currently the leading scorer at 21.6 ppg.; has hit 43-65 FTs, twice as many FT attempts as the next player

ISU over N. Carolina Central at the half, 49-22.
WVU & Coppin State about to start in a few minutes.

I missed this until tonight when I was watching a rerun of TCU's win over Southeastern Louisiana:

TCU (7-2) broke a school record and tied a Big 12 record with 18 3-pointers as a team. Eleven of those came from Amber Ramirez who broke the TCU and Big 12 individual records on her way to a career-high 33 points.
Congrats to Ramirez. We knew she was a very good shooter from BTA coming in from high school.
