Some good games on tap for the Big 12, especially on Sunday. Another good game to watch as a warmup to the Big 12 games: Kentucky vs Norte Dame at 12 noon on ESPNU.

Looks like Tech is going to win this one against Illinois. Tech appears much better this year than they have in the last few years. Illinois is a good defensive team but didn't have much offense today.

turned on A&M/USC at half...A&M is down 44-37 now.

did Gemelos get hurt again? i have it on mute, but they showed a quick shot of her on the bench with her knee wrapped in ice...she def looked upset. would be terrible if she tore her ACL again.

Yes, Gemelos went down with a knee injury again. It looked nasty. I feel so bad for her.

A&M just not looking very good. Their pressure is not as suffocating as in the past and they are really having to work to score.

aggy wins a very close one, 71-70. Big 12 goes to 4-0 for the weekend.

Next up, OU vs Ohio in Vegas at 4:30pm.

OU has little trouble with Ohio, winning 89-57.
Big 12 is 5-0 with the big one coming up in about 30 minutes--Baylor vs Uconn.

KSU will take on North Dakota State at 9:30 in the last Big 12 game this weekend.

Baylor takes down Uconn.

Makes the Big 12 7-0 (forgot to mention that OSU beat UT Pan Am earlier today).
Excellent win for the Lady Bears.

Wonder if there will be grumblings of home cooking from Uconn fans? Griner has really improved from last season. One area she still needs to improve: dominating rebounding. She has the size, quickness and should be averaging a double double.
