Big 12 Freshmen

The Big 12 is going to have some outstanding freshmen playing this coming season. Each team except for Kansas has at least two frosh on their squad with Baylor and WVU each adding five.The impact the frosh will have on their team will depend on how good they are as well as how need there is for them to play immediately. Some will be talented enough to create a spot on the rotation for themselves if not a starting spot. Others will be behind experienced players which will allow the frosh to have a more gradual introduction to college ball.Among the more decorated players in high school are Baylor’s Alexis Prince, KSU’s Brianna Craig, OU’s Nicole Kornet & Maddie Manning, OSU’s Brittney Martin, TCU’s Kamy Cole, Texas’ Imani McGee-Stafford, Tech’s Minta Spears, and WVU’s Bria Holmes. ISU’s 6-4 C Madison Baier has a chance to get significant playing time as ISU has only three players over 6-2 with Sr. Anna Prins the only C on the roster.
