Big 12 goes 5-0. Undefeated. Big 12 kicks all comer's buttolas bigtime!

Much stronger showing than I expected. Could the Big 12 be THE strongest conference overall???

Probably NOT. But I have to give props to all the programs. They played tough, smart and winning football.

Earned some respect I would think.

I wish OU and TA&M would have played in the Cotton. Believe OU would have exposed Aggie and shut them up this off-season.
ISU would have also done a number on them. Alas, the SEC, who has total control over their conference members' bowl assignments, will never let aggy play any of the top 4 Big XII members in a non-CFP bowl game.

5-0 is very nice! ACC 0-6?? Saw the other conferences records but fail to recall their exact records but not very impressive!
5-0 is great but the opt out factor, a fact of life this year, has to be considered when assessing this bowl season. Still a really successful post season for the Conference.

Did anyone have more opt outs than Texas? Honest question, I'd like to know. Most of them seemed like upgrades other than LT, Jack and Spur. I believe Karic probably would've been at RT if Cosmi hadn't opted out.

For first time that I can remember the Big XII had almost entirely an SEC like favorable set of bowl matchups. Favorites in all but one and that one was against an overrated Miami where Okie State matched up well even as underdog.

TCU was also favored by 5.5 against Arkansas in the Texas Bowl (game cancelled) but I can't remember who was favored in the W. Virginia/Tennessee game (Tenn was replaced with Army due to COVID).

Not going 0-3 against the Sun Belt plus barely escaping Houston Baptist would have changed the rating of the conference. And the Big 12 really was down this year. Probably the weakest OU team since 2014 just won it.

Great bowl matchups helped (except ISU Oregon, maybe Campbell is just that good) plus Okie St getting to face Miami without King for the second half. Though not having Tylan Wallace for the second half maybe cancels that out.

Big 12 having nobody in the playoff while ACC had 2 goes far to explaining the bowl records. Some of it is depth, too. SEC and ACC were both really top-heavy.
