Bevo with rose t-shirts?

I notice that the Co-op will be selling caps featuring the Bevo with the rose in its mouth again this year, but they don't seem to be selling the t-shirts. Has anyone seen this for sale elsewhere? They sold them back in 2005, awesome design.

This bothers me a bit, because while our game is going to be played in the Rose Bowl, it is not the "Rose Bowl."

It's kind of like calling the Texas/OU game the "Cotton Bowl" game.

But hey, if you want this shirt, I support 100 percent your right to get it.

Not real sure that it will be available. I have invested interest in a T-shirt company. Our art dept. says that UT/NCAA licensing has turned down everything they have submitted with a rose in it or on it because they are making a big deal about this NOT being affiliated with the Rose Bowl, just located in the Rose Bowl. BUT, as you can see, the Co-Op has it on a hat, so what do I know.

Didn't see it. We left just after Hunter's kick because we had a 2 1/2 hour drive and my friend had to be up again and on the road at about 7 a.m. Sunday. We didn't see anything beyond the original dogpile.

And it's not a subtle distinction at all. Oregon and Ohio State are playing in the Rose Bowl Game.

We, on the other hand, are playing a game in the Rose Bowl.

I don't think that's subtle.

I agree with Texanne. It is a game played in Pasadena--period. Every game through the year played ther is not the "Rose Bowl." This is the "BCS Championship." No parade. no roses.

BTW--I hope we never have to go there again. Big RIPOFF.

It is called The Rose Bowl. Based on this link, it looks like Jan 1 is called The Rose Bowl and our game is the BCS National Championship. But the name on the stadium is the Rose Bowl.

Make the Cotton Bowl the 5th BCS game and rotate the Championship between them. Fixed.

Oh snap, the Cotton Bowl isn't played at the Cotton Bowl. Dang!

The Dallas Cowboys never played in THE "Rose Bowl" game but if I remember the superbowl logos from 1992 had Roses all over them when it was at the Rose Bowl Stadium.
