BEVO to Pasadena

Back in 2005, Bevo stopped at InnerSpace caverns in Georgetown right before they took him to CA. I got some great family pictures.

Anyone heard doing this again this year?

I thought the Rose Bowl does not allow live mascots into the stadium.
Was Bevo there in '06?

Can't recall if they let him in the stadium in '05, but he was definitely at the Texas Exes tailgate party - we took family pics with him.

I know he was at the tailgate and I believe he also stopped for a private party in Vegas on the way up as well.

I think I saw him touring the grand canyon on the way back as well.

Back in '06 I saw Bevo in Tijuana doing tequila shots off a Song Girl's midriff.

He was there in 2006, because I saw him on TV.

No really he was in Vegas.....He'll make a stop in El Paso and even Las Vegas.

"It's going to be a fun road trip, we're getting to stop in Vegas so we're all looking forward to going out. We're going to ring in the New Year there. We're going to try not to lose him in a poker game," Godwin said.

Bevo will have a photo session at the Bellagio in Vegas and then head to California where he's expected to arrive Monday night. He'll need to get plenty of rest because he's making several appearances at celebrity parties.

And while he's no stranger to the limelight, having already traveled to last year's Rose Bowl and a presidential inauguration, Hollywood is kind of a flashy scene for this well-traveled yet laid back Texan.

"He's not real trendy but he'll do alright out there," Godwin said.

We were at the Disneyland party in 2006 and Bevo was supposed to make an appearance. He no showed and rumor at the time was that he was stuck in Vegas. Apparently is handlers had too much fun and no one was sober enough to drive. Anyone know the real story?

You think the Rose Bowl Committee is going to tell USC they can't bring Traveller? I think if they allow one team's live mascot, they have to allow both.

Bevo was there in 2006. Like in most visiting stadiums, even in our own, he was stuck down in a corner where you could hardly see him. But he was there, enjoying the cool California night.
