Amstel Light and Sam Adams Light are decent, but because I drink light beer only when I don't have a choice to drink anything else, these are also usually not an option either. The choice is usually either Bud Lite or Miller Lite....guh.
Shiner Light is the best light beer for all the reaons. It's a Texas beer, and it tastes great, and you don't feel like a little girl drinking one. Guinness (which I love really isn't a light beer even though it is pretty low in caloric count) Shiner is the only answer that matters.
i really cant think of a situation where i would have a light beer except if i was: 1. at a party/tailgate and that was the only choice at the keg/cooler; 2. at a sporting event that was the only choice except for bud; 3. on the lake/river.
that being said, i probably down between 6 and 8 thousand coors lites per year under category 3.
the only time i would even consider drinking a bud lightwould be if i was so stumbling drunk i couldnt tell what i was doing. bud light is ******* pisswater.
VooDoo, you can beat a beer that cheap... you can drink a beer that actually tastes like beer. Bud, Miller, Keystone Light etc.... you might as well drink bad water..... not only does it have very little taste, it's not a good taste.
In order:
1. Shiner Light
2. Coors Light
3. Bud Select
4. Bud Light
5. Keystone
6. Miller Light
I've kinda preferred light beers lately because I can drink a lot more without feeling so hung over the next morning. The calorie thing is negligible because I get enough exercise. Maybe when I'm older I will be concerned.
