Best movie scene in an otherwise so-so or forgettable or just plain bad movie:
This scene popped into my head the other day when my wife and I were talking about how fortunate we all are to live in the USA, for all of its faults and problems, when a disaster like a hurricane occurs. Remember Not Without My Daughter with Sally Field? No way in hell will I ever sit through that flick again, though my wife loves it. And I am definitely not a fan of Field. But there was that one great scene at the end where she and her daughter, after having escaped Iran, are trying to find their way in another middle eastern country, coming around a corner or something and they hear this ruffling or flapping sound...and it turns out to be the American flag.
