Best Texas Lineup Ever (what if)

the other line up thread and all these players leaving early got me wondering.... If you assume every player we have had in the last 10 years, did not leave until they played out their eligibility (4 years) what would have been our most talented kick *** line up and what year.

2007 - 2008

Soph Kevin Durant
Soph DJ Augustin
Senior Lamarcus Aldridge
Senior Daniel Gibson
Junior AJ Abrams

Soph Damion James
Soph Dexter Pittman

would that be the best one?

as long as you're playing fantasy, fantasize this:

1981-82, keep the same lineup we had, just eliminate the injury to Wacker. 14-0 at the time, I give them about 2-3 losses tops.

The best thing about the team was Abe keeping the team loose. The weren't going to pucker hardly any.

Finish approx. 24-2, go to final four. anybody's guess at the final four.

Actually I think I was a year off. Best realistic Texas what-if was Chris Owens not getting injured in the first place and Maurice Evans coming back for his senior year.

Actually, the best lineup ever would have been last year with Senior Kevin Durant and Senior DJ Augustin. They are both so much better than they were as sophomores.

SG: Hamilton or Bradley (FR)
SF: Durant - senior (NBA scoring champ that year)
SF: D. James - senior
C: Pittman - senior

Bench: G. Jonhson, Hamilton, Dogus, Avery Bradley

That team without Durant and Augustin was ranked #1 in the country with an 18-game win streak. Imagine what adding them would have done. Just add a little leadership from Augustin and that team might have gone undefeated. Throw in Durant from last year...
