Yeah, despite ISU playing us well, I think Matt Campbell's shine has worn off. Iowa should be way better than last year, and even if their offense is still in the dark ages, they should be better than ISU.

AF over CU?
Marshall over WVU?

AF over CU is an easy call. Their defense was dominant last year and they beat CU by 3 TDs. Deion might be a miracle worker but even with a retooled roster, I doubt they beat AF over half the time.

Marshall over WVU is more of an indication of final record and bowl appearance versus who would win head-to-head. WVU will probably be down this year, but I agree with you that they're a better team.

OSU over Oregon?

This is just the "shiny new thing must be better than the old" but I think Oregon is much better. Oregon State took people by surprise last year. They won't this year.

I'd place Oregon over OSU, ISU over Iowa, and UNC over Duke. I didn't look at the itty bitty states in the northeast because they're too small to have the logo fit in their state.

6721, I'll let the facts speak for themselves. USAFA has a pretty good team, and CU is building back from the ashes.
As for Coach Prime, the jury is out - no one could turn that program around in one season; he'll need a two- or three-year pass before we start passing judgment.
And thanks - also to the many other posters on Hornfans who put on a uniform to defend our country.

FSU > UF

That is a rivalry with visceral hatred toward the other.

My wife is an FSU grad and I have been around her family, various relatives and that state for over 40 years. Her relatives are a pretty good split of loyalty for those 2 programs.

FSU may have the best TEAM right now, but in my opinion there are far more Gator FANS in FL than Seminole fans... FWIW

CU kind of sucks lately.

Deon brings much needed sizzle and swagger to that sad CU program. He will probably attract / recruit some better talent than they have been getting, but it will be an up hill battle I suspect.

Key is if he and his staff can coach 'em up enough to become competitive again. Not relevant, but just competitive. It will take years for them to become relevant again.

I am not sure cu will ever be relevant? Even during their brief spurt they weren't relevant.
But I kinda admire Deon for putting his reputation on the line. He could have gotten a better job
He is safe for 2 or 3 years if he only gets them competitve.
Interesting that he chewed out the players who did Not take part in the recent brawl

Likely WVU would beat Marshall imo but who cares there lol
