Best route to work.....

So HF..... I am finally making the move from Big D to A-town and I need some help.

I will be temporarily staying in Jarrell and need to know the best route for getting to work at 6th & Congress by 8:30 am. A couple of people have suggested taking 130 and a couple have suggested 45 to Mopac (all have said to avoid 35 into downtown in the morning).

How should I go and how early do you suggest I depart to get to work on time??

45 to Mopac is not a bad idea. Taking 130 to 290/2222 to Lamar might be a good option as well. Both I-35 and Mopac southbound after 183 suck...

I would suggest 130 -> 290/2222 -> Lamar -> 6th.

southbound traffic on I-35 backs up at 290/51st st area. Up until that point it's smooth sailing. From 290/51st into dowtown it's another 15 minutes, which really isn't that bad.
