In case anyone is interested, Home Depot has their grills on clearance.

what axle said x 100.

the Weber Genesis Silver B is the best value for a grill out there.

Does anybody know if they make all of the Weber grills with burners that go from front to back as opposed to left to right?

I always hear great things about this grill, but the ones I've seen turn on and off from front to back which seems like it would be annoying for indirect grilling.

Anyone know anything about the Char-broil Commercial Series? You can pick up this one at lowes for $300.

It looks well made, but not tank-solid like the Weber Genesis Silver B or the Vermont Castings. However, it's not the usual cheap quality of the entry level Char-broils. I guess I don't know how good is good enough.

I got a Char-broil from Home Depot about 4-5 years ago and it still looks and functions great. I love the cast iron grate.

I had a charbroil awhile back and it worked it's heart out. However I have read tons of horrible reviews on the new commercial series. Things like hot spots, flare ups, and lots of charcoaled food.

Google grill reviews or opinions. Most out there say the Webers always rate the highest.

I'm not sure of the price but I hear the Vogner Char-King Imperiale is the best there is. Don't know if Home Depot has this line, but you can get them at Strickland Propane.

Yeah they sold out of the Vogner Char-King Imperiale.

However, I did take a look at the Weber that everyone was raving about and it is a bitching grill. My wife likes the Vermont Castings VCS3006 better because of the look. While the Vermont Castings looks like a solid grill as well, I still think the Weber is better. The only thing I personally liked about the Vermont is that the burners go from top to bottom instead of left to right.

With that said, if I wasn't married, that Weber would be grilling some steaks right now. However, my wife is more aesthetically concerned about things so we'll have some deliberating to do. Either way, we're well on our way to owning our first grill.
