Best place to watch college football saturday

Woodrows is on Sixth, next to Star Bar but worlds apart. It's mainly a sports/beer bar, but with women. They are from Houston. Excellent hangouts.
 
Tavern has an atmosphere that you really can't beat anywhere else. But it is packed and you have to get there really early to be able to find a comfortable spot. You'll probably end up standing around watching the game until the 3rd quarter.
 
I was just about to suggest the tavern.. went there to watch the NU game last year and it was freaken awesome.. decent food, great atmosphere
 
ended up at my friend's house most of Saturday. we cooked out for lunch and went to BoneDaddy's for a late dinner and back to the house for poker until 3 am. Not really my ideal evening away from the wife and family, but our waitress that night was smokin' hot.

Funny thing, we were bullshitting with her and at one point I said to her, "i bet I've known these guys longer than you've been alive. We all met basicall around 1981 (middle school), when were you born?" She was born in freakin 1984. Damn, we're old
 
the posse east is my favorite spot. we were there from 2:30pm until a little before 5pm watching the a&m game and some of the arkansas game.

scholz would be better for pre-game and post-game if they had some tvs. last time i was there was last year and i missed getting my fix of other games. i don't understand why scholz doesn't get more tvs.

also don't understand why the posse doesn't get ESPN GamePlan. it is like $100 for the year and $15 per week. i might talk to the manager this week about that.

I agree Scholz's should get GamePlan, but the cost is much higher for a business than a residence. I'm not sure how much, but I do know that it is a large amount.
 
The Tavern is opening a half hour earlier, 10:30 and are buying the game on PPV. They usually open at 11. BW3 is another great choice too. But I am gonna be closer to the Tavern.
