Best Place to Have a Graduation Party

Throwing a party for graduation where 40-50 will be attending. Where have yall guys been in terms of this crowd that is l can put this on. Live music, food and booze are important. Suggestions please

I had my graduation party with 3 of my best friends at the 2nd floor balcony bar at the Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin hotel. It is very cool to be able to sit on the balcony on a nice day and drink and look out on Congress Ave. They were very flexible in drink and food packages. I was very happy with them.

Additionally, you are not far from 6th Street or the Wharehouse District if you decide to go out afterwards.

Iron Cactus on 6th has a room in the back for larger gatherings.

I would probably opt for something like Zilker Clubhouse if I could get the facility.

I used to rent out the back room at Wylie's for New year's parties and the like but I don't know anything about the owners or the bar now.

You also could probably swing some sort of deal with a resturant/bar like Razoo's in Northwest Austin as they have a seperate side dining area you could probably negotiate for.
