best place to get seats at Tropicana Field

Went there a couple of years when I was living in FL for weekend series. I bought tickets for the Friday game ahead of time but not for the Sat. or Sun games. Unless you're going for a big series (think Yankees & Red Sox), you don't really need to buy tickets ahead of time. get tickets in the general area you want to be in (one or two levels back) and move up to where you want to sit - unless you want prime seating. They do police that.

Also, really didn't think it was a dump, just hard to get to for most locals having to cross the bridge. If you want dump, you should have gone to a Marlins game when they played in Sun Life...
