To fit everything in that I couldn't fit in the title: What's the best place in Austin to get drinks and sit outdoors that isn't just some 6th St. club/bar that has a couple of tables out on a patio?

little woodrow's or cedar door downtown.

dry creek or billy's on burnet north.

freddie's place south.

damnit, how did i forget about club de ville. i love that place.

NEKKIDD @ HIPPY HOLLOW!!!!

But on a serious note:
Cedar Door on 2nd St.; the newish Woodrow's @ Slaughter Ln.; Opal Devine's on S.Congress.

I know it's blasphemous, but if you're way the hell north on Parmer, the patio at the new Z Tejas is pretty nice.

You just have to squint enough so that you don't notice that you can see both Walgreens and CVS.

The new Z is off of Parmer at Avery Ranch.

For some reason they are snootier and more pretentious than the other Z'Tejas' though. Been twice and it is a real turn off. I love the other two locations and can't recall a bad experience. Can't quite figure out what it is about the new location.
