Best place to buy Garage Door in Austin?

Cleaned out the garage this weekend and wanted to go ahead and get a new Garage Door. Seems like there was a thread aobut this recently.

I am considering buying it at Lowe's and letting them install it. But seems like I got a good price from a smaller place on North Lamar a few months ago.

Any thoughts? It's a 16 X 7 Door and I will definitely want to get windows in it.

Nothing that will help, but I need a new garage door also, so I would appreciate any info that you get. I did look into buying one a few months ago, and there is a wide range of prices based on thickness of the metal, windows, and insulation built into the door. We wanted some additional insulation that might help with home energy costs, but the door cost so much we still have not bought one. Don't really know how much it will help anyways.
The thicker insulated doors are better security than the thinner doors, as well.

Not sure if they do residential doors... most likely they do, but I'd give Industrial Overhead Doors a call. I deal with them occassionally for commercial projects, and the salesperson/president (?), David Uhouse is an excellent person, honest, and their prices are about average. Hope that helps.

I like having the light. More importantly I am considering putting up a partial wall about 4 feet off the garage door. for the tools and such and converting much of the space into a crafts/playrrom for the kids.

Though the negative about windows is the reduction in R-factor. So I am still debating as I might just drop in one or two of those sun tube lights instead.

I bought a garage door from Home Depot off Brodie in Austin a couple of years ago and had them install it. It wasn't cheap, but it works fine and was exactly what I wanted. Has windows too.
