What is the best hotel to block off a number of rooms for a Bachelor Party in the Quarter?

Royal Sonesta on Bourbon?

Also look in to the Inn on Bourbon.

The Royal Sonesta is directly across Bourbon Street from Rick's Cabaret. For a bachelor party, you can't do much better than that.

I love the bar in the Monteleone but that place doesn't really scream out bachelor party to me. It's a great hotel, but it's older and more of a romantic weekend type place.

I am a big fan of the Monteleon, but I just did a bachelor party in New Orleans a month or two ago and was VERY pleased with the Dauphine Orleans. It's one block off Bourbon Street in the heart of the quarter. Ask about the Carriage House. It's a separate building across the street from the main hotel. Classic New Orleans courtyard type building and the rooms have recently been renovated and are VERY nice inside. They have a couple nice sized suites in the building so the bachelor can really stay in style. You WILL NOT find a better deal for the money. They have group discounts too. Unless money is no object, this is your place.

the W on Canal- the bar scene is rocking and cool hotel. Caters to young hipsters.
