Best hospital in Austin?

I'm relocating 6/1, and I'm going to have to find a PCP (primary-care physician) and a hospital. Basically, I am Catholic, so if there's a decent Catholic one, that's nice. Can anyone rank them from top to bottom? I appreciate it!

St. David's is known as the best in town. Stay away from Brackenridge. Seton is a good hospital (err, "medical center").

1-St. David's
2-Seton Med Center (38th Street)
3-Seton NW/South/whatever
4-Brackenridge

There isn't really a catholic population to speak of in Austin. For a long time it was the biggest city in the country without a Catholic high school. The big hospitals in Austin are:
St. Davids (I was born there so it rocks)
Brackenridge (Had my tonsils out there, it's good too)
Seton (never been there)

I have never heard anything bad about any of them or really anything that would seperate them from each other as far as quality.

Brack almost killed one of my friends when he had a seizure and the ambulence took him there. I will never go there again in my life.

stay away from South Austin, they have no clue

Dude, avoid Brackenridge like the plague!!! The ER there is such that you would be better off to crawl to St. Davids on your lips dragging your bleeding limbs behind you than to go there.

They all suck, compared to other cities. Most of the best workers leave town to cities with better pay and working conditions. This town could use a good hospital, esp. far north and far south.

St. David's and Seton (central) are probably the best we've got. I've had some relatives go to S. Austin Hospital (or whatever its called this week), in a pinch, and they're still alive, so it's got that going for it.
