Best home monitoring service

New to home ownership, and I have to choose a home alarm system. Which company is the best as well as the best deal.

seriously I just went through this at my new house.... these salesmen all suck royally and will ******** out their faces as to why you need their company... the reality is that there are 3 monitoring stations in Houston that ALL the companies go through... so what you are really paying for is the equipment and monthly fees... for that I've gone with Watchdog Surveillance... $19.95 a month and my total equipment/install charge was $450 for 1 panel, 2 keypads, 1 motion sensor, 4 door sensors and 5 glass breaks.... also, this is for an old house so that was total install... it would have been cheaper if the house was pre-wired...

If you are in Austin, I recommend Hall Security. Locally owned, and they've been doing my houses since 1998.

I used a company that is owned and operated by a fellow Hornfans poster. I used them and cannot say enough about it. To this day when I have a question, they are there for me. PM if this interests you. Though I did have the opportunity to ban them if they messed up, which they did not. I am very happy.
