USC-KSUcks-Beasley is good, but if Floyd imposes the same sort of defense that he did on Durant and Augustin last year, KSUcks goes down, even before their fans in Omaha. Beasley's the better player, but OJ Mayo has the better team. Should be a good game.
Gonzaga-Davidson-I have G'Town in my Final Four, but with one caveat - the winner of this game is gonna give the Hoyas fits. This will be a hell of a first round game.
Butler-South Alabama-Can the Bulldogs survuve USA's homestanding fans?
Pitt-Oral Roberts-You may scoff at this one, but check back Thursday. I really believe Pitt is ripe for an ambush. They just got done playing four games in four days against good teams in New York, and now they have to get on a plane and go halfway across the country to face an ORU team seeking that elusive first tourney win for Scott Sutton. Remember, the last team to win four games in four days at the Big East - Syracuse - got beat in the first round by A&M two years ago.
Clemson-Villanova-Perfect spot for a 5/12 upset here. A Clemson team that is incredibly talented, but has mental problems, against a rugged Big 5 team with a good point guard. I smell some upset here....
Drake-WKU-No doubt, Drake is a great story. But don't sleep on WKU. We played them earlier this year and they are a good, balanced team with a good player in Lee.
