Best Fax thru Email service?

I want to get faxes on my email as well as send faxes via my computer. I would prefer to send faxes through an email as well, but I don't even know if that's possible.

I know there's efax and all the others, but I am looking for some HornFans recommendations. Thanks.

I work for a small firm and we use something that allows a person to fax something to my voicemail phone number and it automatically sends it to me via an email. The same thing happens when someone leaves me a voice message. It sends me an audio file in an email that I can listen to on my computer. I can find out what the service is, but it sounds like you are looking for a computer program.

I have used several, including eFax. The best is MyFax. It costs $10/month and is super easy and reliable - uses PDF for delivery as a default, no special reader necessary.

look at onebox. i like it because it gives you the faxes in pdf format.

No problems with EFax- have been using since ~2000.

You can receive faxes as either .pdf or .efx formats. Has worked great for me here and overseas- however, it isn't as cheap as some of the other services.

It sounds like the receiving is pretty much the easy part...the harder part is sending. How do you guys send?

I've f'ing HAD IT with my Vonage fax service and need to dump it ASAP.
