Best chicken wings?

Look no further than BW3 on Sixth Street. Mosey on down there on Tuesday, partner, and you git yerself 30 cent wings...yup, 30 cent wings in any flavor of their many and any spice level. The only catch is that there is a 10 wing minumum per sauce you order...a bargain. They have lots of tv's and NTN trivia also.
 
I haven't been to the BW3's in Austin, but I've been to others. They are pretty good. The nice thing is they have a huge variety of sauces. Wings are not breaded I believe. Pretty good but kinda small. If you like wings like I like wings (hot as f'ing hell), Hooters has good wings (for a chain restaurant). The one in San Antonio had hot *** wings - I mean nose running, numb lips kinda hot. I would go there even without the T&A.
 
Hooter's wings are OK, but not that great. Plucker's is much better if you can stand the extra pepper they spread all over the wings. I haven't tried BW3's.
 
Double daves has 25cent Wings on mondays. At least the one on Duval does. They are Ok, but i'm not much a fan of chicken wings anyway.
 
pluckers is much better than hooters. anyone try wing zone? i have thought about ordering some as they do delivery...

Wingzone was so much better than pluckers - at least in the realm of delivering. Pluckers sometimes took 2 hours to deliver a couple of blocks away. Wing were pretty damn good too. But, if you don't mind going and fighting the parking monster on 6th, BW3 has pretty good wings. Hate the layout of the place, but their wing sauces are pretty good.
 
Pluckers by far. So many great flavors of wings. The cheapest beer anywhere and Direct Tv! Are you kidding me. Why would you get wings anywhere else?
 
You guys have got to be kidding, Pluckers is the worst!
That is one place I would NEVER go again. Our team went there after some coaxing from another teammate and left vowing never to return.
I prefer Hooters (Hot, extra crispy, all drums) and BW3's is not bad. I have never tried wingzones.
 
rksg has got it right - hooters, all, drums (although I prefer naked, since they overbread their wings sometimes). BW3 is good, but freaking greasy. Wingzone, pluckers, Double Dave are all just pretenders to the Hooters crown.
 
if you are into wings that are more than half fat, then bw3 is the choice for you. however, if you prefer your wings to actually have meat on them, try elsewhere.
 
Hooters has the best wings. I like mine breaded, crispy and medium. "Naked" wings just aren't the same. Grease trapped in the skin/flour just tastes better than grease trapped in the chicken itself for some reason. If you've set out to eat unhealthy, what's an extra 20-30 grams of fat right?
 
was in SA this morning and had lunch at wings n more. awesome wings. better than anything in austin. the ribs aren't good at all. i should have had just more wings.
