Best Catfish in Austin?

Where is the best place to go and eat Catfish in Austin?

Being a big man, I of course prefer the "All-U- Can-Grub" style, but a good fillet will do also...

tortilla fried catfish and topped with green chile sauce at shady grove, out on the patio with a cold draft beer, is awesome. not traditional, but great.

You can't go wrong with Shoal Creek Saloon. They only offer "all-u-can-eat" for lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays, unfortuneately. Still, it's damn good.

Cherry Creek, no doubt. I also really like Terry's Seafood on MLK and airport. GOOD STUFF!

Pacific Star has all you can eat on Fridays, I believe. Shoal Creek is good, too.

Best catfish I ever had was at the old Catfish Station on Sixth Street. They're now on Rundberg just east of I-35, going by the name Mr. Catfish, but the one time I ate there it wasn't quite the same as the 6th St. location. Still good, but I couldn't call it "the best I ever had" anymore.

They also are one of the few catfish places that give you the option of a whole catfish rather than just filets.

catfish parlour on N183. free hushpuppies w/ jalapeno tartar sauce, and all you can eat (on W and Th, i think), really good catfish. good slaw and beans, free salad, old joint with nice country people working there. there's also one on 71 heading out to the airport, just past midnight rope-a-ho, but i've never been there.
