Looking to book a cabin either on the Frio or in New Braunfels. What cabins would you suggest? Looking for mid June rental.

The Hideout on the Guadalupe looks very nice on their website, but it's at the top of the price range I'm looking to spend.

Never been to the Frio so no idea about where to go there. It's for me, wife, one yr old, and another fam. Thanks.

Check out River Haven near Leakey, on the Frio. www.riverhavencabins.com/

I've been going every summer for 10 or 12 years. You're about 5 minutes from Leakey, which actually has a couple of decent restaurants, and 15 min. from Concan, where you must go eat at Neal's.

Since you're going with family, I recommend the Frio. The Guadalupe is fun, bet the Frio is much a more relaxed atmosphere.

I've stayed at the Frio River Cabins twice. Really nice and owned by nice folks from Houston who chucked city life and now manage the cabins. Don't have the link handy...Google it.

Here's on right on the Guadalupe, just out of Kerrville/Ingram/Hunt. My family and friends have been going for thirty plus years. Very relaxing and lots of stuff to do, if you choose.
