Best Burger in DFW

Fred's Cafe off 7th street near downtown. I'm not as on board with the fries, but the burger itself is the closest thing to Dirty's I've had.

It has been documented on the most reliable source of information on this planet (hornfans) that I am a believer in the skiny burger at Bailey's 1st and 10. That said, I now give way for Fred's.

BTW, Jack's Burger House is the most overrated burger on earth.

I gotta try Freds. I have always been a big fan of the skinny burger @ Baileys 1st and10. Snuffers burgers arent too bad either.

in that thread you should go follow the thread over on the SMU board. those guys set out to try all of the supposed "best burger" in dallas. although there is a lot of personal preference i would have to agree that "two rows" is surprisingly in my top 5. couldn't believe that i would agree with that before actually trying one.

I went to Pappas Burgers a few weeks ago.

Good...but not great. There are better burgers (although it's not bad).

Fred's is great, and makes me feel like I'm in Austin.

A while back I went in there for a cheeseburger, and a Rahr Pale Ale. Perfection!

i've been back in dallas for a few months now, achieved my goal of losing some needed weight around the danger zone. Now i'm going over this weekend to try the Twisted Root in Deep Ellum. Supposed to give the Angry Dog a run for it's money for the Dallas burger. That being said, I grew up 1 mile from Jakes Original, so I'm still a bit partial to the #1.

Tried Kincaids at the new Arlington Highlands location -

Good burger.

Chips and Balls are both better IMO.

I am also a big fan of Twisted Root.
But I think the best burger is in Ft. Worth at Kincaid's.

I think I'm going to have to try Wingfield's this week. Kincaid's in Fort Worth is awesome but it's not in Dallas. Milo's has a darn good burger, Angry Dog too, but I swear even though most will laugh, for my dollar I can't find a better Dallas Burger than Burger Street. The ingridients are just awesomly fresh. Great Burger.
