Best Barber Shop Near Campus?

Hey all -- finally relocated here for graduate school, and I need to get a haircut! Any recommendations for a place close to campus? Thanks!

It is on the West side of the drag, just north of 21st Street. Located in the Goodall-Wooten Bldg...hence, the Woo. Look no further.

If you don't want a quick haircut (less than 3 minutes on average), don't go to the haircut place near Guadalupe and 26th. I'd rather pay a little more and get more attention.

Why does your barber need to be near campus? At the most you only go there once every 3 weeks, maybe 2 if your gay (nothin wrong with that).

I'm a big fan of the woo. The old dude or ralph and the most profecient. When coeds walk past wearing nothing they'll spin you around and show you. That always cracks me up.

There would have to be parking for it to be a *****. It is hit or miss like anything on the drag. Pick your times wisely. Bring quarters and you may luck out w/ a meter.

The Wooten is by far the best. Its a real barber shop and all the guys are great to talk to. Plus they always have new movies being played. Wooten is #1 place.

The Woo ... go before 8am so you can get a parking place on the street back on San Antonio, like behind St. Austin's.

FYI, James (the "old guy") now takes appointments, so you can just call the barbershop and get appointments with him if you don't have time to wait in line.

One other option ... Monte and Danny's down on South Congress, just before you get to Oltorf on the West side of the street (next door to the old porn theatre). Old fashioned barbers, and you can find out everything you want to know about horse racing there

James was the man. I never met anyone who was so eager to show me pictures of his (adopted) teenage daughter.

just got back from my first haircut at the WOO.

holy ****, that is the best haircut i've had since i was 12, and going to my dad's barber (i'm29).

my cut was from the newest (and youungest) guy there. He used to be at a civilian shop at the air force academy, and i am very impressed.

i will never get my hiar cut anywhere else.

Is there an online course where I can get a license? sheesh -- at $15 a haircut, assuming you can do 4 an hour, that's well, $60 a hour. Assuming $40 for overhead, that's still $20 take-home, plus a tip!
