Bertram Smoke Haus

We stopped at a place in Bertram for some road Q and now I can't remember the name of it. It is the place right downtown. Their front door opens right onto Highway 29.

I had a sliced brisket sandwich and it was delicious. Mesquite smoked. Big, tender chunks with wonderful bark and flavoring. Friendly service.

Yup, that's it. I was back by there yesterday and stopped in but they were closed. Boo. I wanted to try the chicken.

I was by there again and got a couple lbs of brisket and a chicken and they were both delicious. Two thumbs way up.
