I may have missed this, but I don't see any acknowledgement of Joe Bergeron's outstanding game last night. North Mesquite lost to Rowlett 22-21, but our guy went 23 for 273 eye-popping yards.
I pulled up a video of his highlights on youtube. He is very much a power back in my opinion. Having him, Brown, and CW will make for some major power assuming CW stays at RB.
He reminds me of Joe Weber, who A&M had around the same time we were in the Ricky-Hodges-Cedric transition. Big and quick, but not quick enough to outrun everyone all the time. Can go between tackles, but can occasionally hit paydirt by going around them too. He's good. Brown's still better.
