In today's DMN online edition, we have the following:
Gosselin: Why common sense dictates that Texas A&M could end back up in Big 12.


I guess that's after they are tired from being 'back up' in the SEC.

It was a semi-misquote from his interview with Norm on the Ticket. When asked about his thoughts on college realignment, his comment was something like "There's no common sense. You might as well see Missouri in the Big 10 and A&M back in the Southwest Conference or whatever the Big 12 becomes."

Pulling out just one part of the quote and saying it's kosher isn't exactly what Goose meant.
 
I understand the context in which Goose made his comment. If anybody actually took it literally, well...let's put it this way. As long as Deloss Dodds is drawing breath, agricultural had better be happy in the SEC...they've used up any probability of ever seeing the Big XII in anything but a bowl game. (I was being facetious using the terms "A&M" and "bowl game" in the same sentence.)
