Remember, we do have 4 games left, and from what I can tell some of them have just increased in difficulty.
Say what you will about aggy, but Nebraska is starting to impress me. They play solid, fundamental basketball, take what you give them, and are playing their best ball right now. From what I have seen Maric has really impressed me. Right now they look very simliar to OU....and we were all worried about that one. The game is at home, which helps a lot, but I see Nebraska as a team on the rise and a team that is finding themselves rigth now. Could be dangerous.
Oklahoma State. Again, it is a home game, but this team is DEFINATELY playing better. You don't beat Kansas without playing better. If memory serves, I think they have won 4 out 5 and like nebraska, they seem to be playing their best ball right now.
Finally, I am and will always be frightened to go into Lubbock. Weird stuff happens there. Tceh is still just 6-6 in the conference....plenty to play for. If they can have a good stretch run it is not out of the question to put them in bubble talk.
Obviously we have KSU on the mind and we SHOULD be worried about that one, but we aren't out of the woods after tomorrow night. I still think we are gonna come out flat at some point and drop a game.......I hope we don't, it's just a feeling.
Last, in case you haven't noticed none of the top 3 in the Big 12 (KU, KSU, or Texas) has lost a conference game at home, and off the top of my head I think the only home loss in the ENTIRE season was our sweet one point debacle against Wiscy. Oh, and we have a road trip to Manhattan tomorrow. Doooomed? The point is, while we are sitting pretty right now, still lots and lots of work left to do. Still need to finish it out strong.
