Brine, rub, or what?

I am going to sear it in a pan with some olive oil and then roast it to a medium rare in the oven. But I don't know what I should do to get it ready. Help.
 
you can read my recipe for how I do a leg of lamb. I wouldn't do that exact recipe, but it might give you an idea of something similar you could come up with on your own. I do like a nice bit of pepper cooked on the outside of my Tenderloin.
