I pay every two weeks plus send in an estimated check quarterly. THEN,I get to go through the ridiculously complicated process of completing my return and sending in more money.

So they get my payments all year long. My tax rate is higher than Obama's, but no sense expecting him to do what he hypocritically touts via TelePrompter.
 
Those Obama family vacations aren't cheap. Make sure you get your taxes in so that Malia and Sasha, or whatever their names are, can spend their spring breaks in the Bahamas, with a little time left over for snow skiing in Montana.
 
Obama is on pace to take fewer vacation days than Bush 2, Clinton, and Reagan. Saying that our taxes fund his vacations is dumb.
 
Who do you think pays for the secret service and other costs when Barak, Michelle, Sasha or Malia go on vacation to Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribean, Paris or wherever? Obama may pay some costs himself, such as room rentals, but the taxpayers take a nice little hit.

I have no problem with him playing golf and taking time off, but don't tell citizens that they are not contributing enough while indulging your family's dream getaways at the taxpayer expense. A little less contempt for those who actually work and pay for his parties and travel is not a lot to ask.

Please be honest and tell us if YOU think W and Laura spending time in Waco or Camp David is the same as sending BO's wife 4 hours ahead of him to martha's vineyard ( last year)
OR sending her to hawaii ahead of BO
OR sending her to Aspen
then the girsl to bahamas
while Bo went on a private trip to florida
and then girls flew from bahamas to sun valley as did MO

"Undocumented Workers" is now the politically correct term I think. Hell, who needs documents. It's really their country anyway. The rest of us evil folks just stole it from them. Right?
 
I'm getting pretty sick of politicians on both sides blowing through massive amounts of money on personal vacations. I know it's a drop in the bucket, but its a good drop to start with. The whole idea that its ok to waste money because we waste more elsewhere gets to me.

Were those pictures taken on a family vacation or during one of Bush's official trips to Africa? Also, did the Bush daughters ever spend half their spring break in Cancun and the other half skiing in Colorado? And did Bush ever complain that people weren't paying enough taxes?

If it makes you feel better, Rick Perry's living expenses while the Governor's Mansion was being repaired were just as ridiculous. With the amount of money that we pay into income taxes, capital gains taxes, social security taxes, Medicare taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, and all of the other taxes, our elected officials should show a little discretion as to how they spend it. It is a small drop in the bucket as to total spending, but the sense of entitlement permeates all levels of our government.
 
Was that Bush trip to Africa the one where he brokered million upon million of Aids medications and by some very conservative estimates save about 1.2 million lives? You mean that African vacation by W?

Not to mention that picture you display has Jenna or Barbara about 12 years old, which would make him the Governor of Texas not the POTUS.
 
BO hasn't worked a day while he has been in office. All he has done is campaign and suck up to Hollywood. Who needs a vacation with a schedule like that?
 
I think it is so hilarious the liberals instincts are such that whenever you are critical of BO that just start Bush bashing, it is so funny, can you imagine the history books in 100 years......

The great one jumped from the Helicoptor, scaled the wall in a single bound, jumped through the door and shot Osma Bin Laden, while looking backwards into a mirror. As he was strolling back to the Bush era helicoptor that broke down and was useless, the great one put everyone on his back and leaped 50 feet into the other helicoptor as it was leaving the area........the working helicoptor pilot was a big listener of Rush Limbaugh.

I can only imagine how this guy is going to get so blown out of proportion in history...............
 
Presidential vacations are like the filibuster. Support or opposition to it depends entirely on who's benefiting from them. The merits are irrelevant. Politics are all that matters.
 
Mindless, I thought I was quoting from the Republic of California history books circa 2088......

I wouldn't call my story mindless, it took somethought and liberal imagination to come up with that, I guess mindless would be appropriate!!!
