They played championship baseball last night. Very, very focused. No smiling, no extra emotion, total concentration. Aggie fans of all ages yelling obscenities, leaning over the dugout, yelling at Augie the entire game about his legal issue and being classless toward the team and the umpires.

There is no announcement of exhibiting sportsmanship during the game by the PA announcer before the game like our recorded message by Greg Swindell before each game. To the contrary, the perception is that classless behavior is encouraged.

Today and Sunday. let's demonstrate how to win with class.

BTW. the runner was out at the plate, Rupp had the plate blocked and tagged him before he reached around for the plate. The runner was "gassed" from running, certainly not their best runner.

Yeah you could comapre last nights game to the k-state series the only difference the Horns battled through and came out with the victory.

I am very very proud of the Horns. I was watching the aggy video and on that the crowd did seem a little wild. I did notice that the singing of the war hymn did not seem as lusty after we scored the three runs in the tenth.

Agreed. An awesome win by the Horns under tough circumstances. The only bad thing was having to listen to the A & M announcer the whole game. In the end it was great satisfaction knowing that the third largest crowd in the history of Olsen field had to go home once again with the bitter taste of defeat from the Horns. Let's hope the guys didn't celebrate too much last night and they come in with the same focus today. Clearly the farmers will be coming to Austin down. They got beat at their own crib with their best pitcher going. We need to keep them down with a dominant performance today. Here's to hoping for a W today. If we win today, can you imagine the number of brooms at the Disch tomorrow? GO HORNS!!!!
