Baylor

So I'm watching the end of the TAMU/Baylor game, and I'm not knocking Baylor's success, but

1. what's that limp chest-bumping thing they're doing after a win - not like the usual high-fiving; and

2. I could have sworn Chaz Bono was there (sorry - don't have the means to snare a pic of that).

Enjoy it while you can, Bears.

Let them have their moment, they are playing clutch baseball..

They remind me of the Oregon State team that won the NC(s) a few years back, the ball just bounces to them and they don't mess up.

Better them enjoying it than Aggy!

We could be the only thing between them and
a perfect conference season. I don't think OU
can beat them unless Baylor has a letdown.

They have played consistently well all season
so far, neither we or Aggy has come close to
that standard.

They have one of the most corrupt and dirty basketball programs in the NCAA history and are on probation again. They are flash in the pan in football and about to fall to below the Earth again now that RGIII is gone.

Let's let them have their moment with this until it either fades or they get caught for cheating at this too.

Sorry guys but all this sounds so Aggie.. The bears have stepped it up this year and deserve all the credit they get. As much as it pains me to say.

The Link

By my hurried count, they have 5 Seniors and 12 Juniors on the roster. I don't know who's starting but there's probably a connection between their experience and this streak.

Otherwise, I'd default to the assumption that anyone who gets real good, real fast, is doing something shady. Not necessarily the case here but it IS Baylor.

You had to witness the total devastation on the faces of the BU players after Cal cut their livers out winning the Houston regional last year. Baptists had game won with a comfortable lead T9 and Logan Verett one lousy out away from glory .... Awful loss kept them from hosting a super in Waco and a desperately needed boost to the program, recruiting and Steve Smith especially. I think that bitter taste serves them this season.

A buddy of mine just went to the Baylor Luncheon they had in Dallas yesterday and Smith said exactly that. The devastating loss to Cal was a unifying moment that brought them all closer together.

Let's hope the Horns get their's before it's too late.
