Baylor

Vol Horn 4 Life

Good Bye To All The Rest!
Are they really a top 10 team? I know they are supposed to be pretty good at 6-0, but really they haven't been impressive.

Grambling
LaSalle
Jackson St
David Lipscomb
Prarie View
Ariz St

They dominated Grambling and Prarie View, but have been pretty average against the others. All of these teams are bad except for maybe Lipscomb from the Atlantic Sun Conf and the Baylor offense is 74th in the country.

Does anyone know if they are testing team chemistry combinations or something during these easy games? It seems like they play a patient offense which could account for the low scoring output.

I'm just not sure if they are as good as advertised right now.

Their nonconf. scheduling is ****. ASU looks to be one of the worst teams in the Pac-10. I'm anxiously awaiting the matchup with Wayland Baptist late in the season.

We'll see how they do against Gonzaga this weekend, but even if they win that one, I still don't think I'll have a good feel for their play until the conference season. Their guards are good, their defense is good, but I don't know how they'll all hold up once February gets here.

Their guards are good? They still have this Acy guy that some folks might remember from last year and the number 2-3 rated PF/C in the freshman class. They may have a depth problem at guard, but otherwise they should be ok. (unless dunn's trial comes up during the season)

Zaga handled them well today.
