Baylor

They've come a hell of a long way since the Bliss ********.

Congrats on a great season, Baylor.

This is something they can use to build their program on.

i thought it was a great game - i saw a 7' center get blocked not once, but twice!

i also like baylor's strategy of allowing Purdue open layups so that they can race down the court and chunk up 3s in transition.

I saw no hustle or want to from those guys. It looked like they where playing in slow motion and would not get on the floor for balls. I texted my buddy during the game and said, "looks like Baylor took Purdue -3"

I filled out several brackets and I was fortunate to only pick Baylor in one of them....although I did pick them to advance to the Sweet 16 in that one. The reason being is that very few poor defensive teams have success in the NCAA tournament. It's really one of the few constants that you can point to in recent years.....as far as teams and their ability to advance.

yeah a 14 seed that was playing a ******* mid major in xavier. baylor had to play the 2nd best team in the big ten. a little bit of a difference there. i bet baylor would have beat X men by 10. don't start talkin **** unless you know what you're talking about..... and i went to UT btw... so i'm not some BU homer.

the whole Baylor-Baptist dancing thing on this board is just old.. a joke that has been used wayyyyy too much. And simply, not as funny and as clever as anyone of you think it is.

Maybe you just have no sense of humor or don't get it. That was funny and a good use of it and March Madness being...nevermind, I think it is fruitless to try to explain. Sorry you don't get it.

My sister went to Baylor. She said they couldn't have dances, so they had "functions." Mac was right. Today they proved they can't dance. And they didn't look very functional, either.

Yeah i had called into the Waco sports show and asked the question. Would yall perer to go to the NCAA and do a one and done or the NIT where you have a chance to possibly win it all. Boy they raked me over the coals.. Hmm guess whos raking now..

not a good game for sure.

but a hell of a successful season. did we belong in the dance? depends on your bias. but i thought we could have gone either way.

i was a fan of this program during the shooting and i can tell you i'm very proud of how far drew has brought us. those were some DARK days...darker than anyone can imagine. having a young man lose his life is real man, real. in the end its just a game but losing a life is real.

so here's to you baylor thanks for a great year and the future looks bright.

hook'em tomorrow boys i'll be cheering for the great state of Texas

the Baylor squad was totally outclassed out there. Poorly coached or not really wanting to be there is what it looked like to me. Absolutely no on the ball defense to speak of which killed them considering the opponent was a bigtime shooter of the 3. The Purdue squad, a bunch of young freshmen and sophomores looked polished by comparison.

Baylor fans shold be thankful for Belmont.

Because of Belmont's down-to-the-wire loss to Duke, no one is talking about Baylor's pathetic performance.

Personally, I'm glad Baylor is out of the Dance. They didn't belong there, and it showed. I'm sick and tired of hearing about how Baylor is a "feel good story".
I don't consider if a "feel good story" when the trouble that Baylor went through was self-inflicted. They knew that Dave Bliss was a cheater, but they hired him anyway. They knew players were getting paid, but they turned a blind eye.
I have no sympathy for Baylor's program, and I enjoyed watching Purdue destroy them.

How could a team coached by the rightful Big XII coach of the year play so bad?

Maybe it would have turned out differently if they took the nets off the rims and played the game on asphalt.
