I don't know if Drew will ever get caught or not, but something is going on there under the table.

It was not to long ago Baylor was on probation and a player murdered another player. You don't go from that to where they are now, which is VERY good, so quickly without something going on.

That being said, I hope they make it to the final four again. Nice to have both them and Kansas in the final four. Have not looked at the brackets to see if that's possble or not.

"I hope they make it to the final four again." ____ Again? Yes it's possible and fairly simple. Baylor just needs to beat Kentucky and Kansas simply needs to beat N Car (Assuming they all get to Elite 8). Mizzu easily got the easier draw but they peed in their own chili..

Nice win vs Xavier. Baylor is in the elite 8 for the second time in three years. Not a fluke!

I think they get cornholed by Kentucky.

I'm fed up with college basketball. Calipari and Drew need to go away. I'm also not fond of our relationship with Findley and our previous relationship with Toronto. Perhaps I can root for UNC and Indiana.

If Baylor can somehow get by Kentucky they'll obviously have the hardest part behind them, but I really don't see that happening though. Kentucky could probably beat some NBA teams.

No, they can't. It's the same with college football or college baseball. It just won't happen and it wouldn't be close. This does not take away how good Kentucky may be but no.

I didn't say they would win every time, or even most of the time. I personally think Kentucky is good enough to win occasionally against the bottom feeders of the NBA. Just my opinion. It's not the same as football. The physical disparity isn't as great.

It is in other ways and I respect your opinion. I don't think if they played 25 times the college team would win. Every single guy in the NBA beat out tons of others. While Kentucky will have some go to the pros, many won't make it or wash out. And, they are not even to the point to make it yet. They could not handle the longer games, the bigger and better in shape bodies.

Would you say that the best college baseball team has a chance? The bodies are even less different there (sans steroids).

I would venture to say that even D League teams would pretty much crush Kentucky. However, the Wildcats may steal a game or two here and there but I would bet against them each time.

I wouldn't say that about just any college team and only say it after watching this Kentucky team for several games. They might not win it all this year (and I hope they don't), but they also might be the best college team I have seen in a while.

I also think that the NBA's propensity for a lack of defense would keep it more competitive. There is no doubt a distinct disparity, but everyone has an off night once in a while.

It's all hypothetical anyway.

100p, I disagree.

Pro Basketball is different from either pro baseball or pro football. I am not aware of many players that go directly to the Big league in Baseball from higt school or college. Physical bodies do make it impossible in football.

Look at all the basketball players that make an immediate impact from both high school or 1 year of college experience in Pro Basketball.

If Corey Joseph is starting for a D league team....I would take that bet. If Kabongop is in the D league next year, he would be completely outclassed by Kentucky's guards.

Anthony Davis is in a class with Durant and Beasly. He is that good. They have very good height with Davis and Jones and very good guards. The major flaw of Kentucky is lack of depth. They get in troble if one of their bigs gets in foul trouble.

This also makes your case of the longer game a problem for them. That may be the major kicker.
Kentucky can play, but they can also be beaten. They had a difficult time in every SEC tourney game.

Baylor can beat them. Baylor has the height to challenge Kentucky's inside game and Acey(?) present a real problem for Kentucky's smaller guards. With Jones and Davis....Baylor should get very few points in the paint.

Davis may be the best college player this season, but Kidd-Gilchrist isn't far behind.

It's looking like the only team left that can beat Kentucky is Kentucky.
