two blocks for Griner and five altered shots. Seems like Baylor has settled down. Now if they could make some outside shots. 10 point game, could be a tight game. Bet Stanford is hoping that the winner is really pushed.
 
If Griner ever learns to go get the defensive rebound instead of waiting for it, she will add another dimension to her game and make herself a more effective force on the defensive end.
 
looks like Baylor has run out of gas. Wonder if they have another run in them? Will their outside shooters heat up? If they don't, Conn will just keep increasing the lead.
 
Good showing by Baylor. Too bad neither OU or Baylor could make it to the championship game. Get some shooters for Griner to pass the ball to and Baylor could easily be looking at deep runs in the NCAAs the next three years.
 
I agree. I think their shooters are ok but I totally agree with what Babhorn said earlier. Griner needed to quit standing around waiting for the defensive rebound to come to her. Not that I want her to figure that out anytime soon

Baylor played darn well. UCONN is a tremendously talented team. With what Baylor has coming in next year I would not be surprised to see them seriously challenge for a national championship. One or two more players and they would have beaten UCONN...and they have 3 top 10 recruits coming in next year, possibly four if they land Schimmel, who I understand is still considering Baylor. Last night's game had to help their chances with her.
