Baseball hosts Baylor on Sunday
The Longhorns and Bears face off in a scrimmage at UFCU Disch-Falk Field at Noon with admission free to the public.

AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas Baseball fans can get their first look at the 2010 squad on Sunday when the Longhorns play the Baylor Bears in a Noon game at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The exhibition is a make-up of the contest which was rained out on October 4.

The Longhorns' 22 returnees and eight newcomers will take the field in a 14-inning scrimmage against their conference rivals. The scrimmage is free to the public.

3-for-4 with two home runs, one walk, one hit-by-pitch, four runs and four RBI

And continuing another trend from last season, “won it” in the bottom of the 13th with a two run dinger from Jonathan Walsh.

FIRST PITCH!

Lots of interest from pro scouts. 12 radar guns and stopwatches. They seemed impressed.

Oh and it’s a very enjoyable game when no one is stalling. Just over three hours for 14 innings!
