Only ahead by 29 at the half, letting St. Mary's make 7 field goals in the half, and starting the second half with a 6-0 run to push the lead to only 35 before St. Mary's scored. Just a miserable night.
well, they did beat another double digit seed. yeah, they're a great team. Has any team in the tourney ever faced so many high seeds, and then suddenly had to face a #1?
They do have the complete team, but let's see what happens against a #1 seed. I think this should be a great game, but what happens if they choke against Duke and lose by 12+ points?
I had the feeling last night they were peaking one game too soon.
For me, I want either one of the greatest games in the tourney, or a Duke blowout.
If it's one of the greatest games in the tourney, I don't care who wins. I want to see if Drew has any game day coaching talent.
well we almost got both of my wishes, a great game and then almost a double digit win for Duke.
looking at the box score the difference is three pointers made, 11 vs. 6. But the way I saw it Baylor looked like they tired out in the 2nd half, and that lead to not being able to get that key rebound that was followed by the three pointer.
That one Baylor guard had nothing in his legs for his last two attempts. Basically Baylor wilted in the last 5 minutes.
