Baylor game TV access

I get local channels thru DISH who is having another contract dispute and ABC is not available. I have Disney/HULU subscription. Will the game be available live via Hulu?
If not, since it is ABC will it be available on ESPN+ on Sunday?
I will be returning from Vegas during game and trying to find a way to have access when I return. Thanks for any help offered.

If you have Hulu+ Live, then the game will be available on your local ABC affiliate. However, if you're not geographically in your TV service area (it'll check for location on a personal device), it'll block OTA broadcasts.

There's a chance it'll be on replay on ESPN+ but I think they usually make those decisions more than a day after the event.

It's a dispute over carriage fees between DISH and Hearst (the latter of which owns 30+ local network affiliates). These carriage fee disputes are a pain in the posterior.

>> Dish Network customers are losing access to 37 local channels across 27 markets Friday as the company has failed to reach a carriage agreement with Hearst Television.

The impasse impacts ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, MNT and IND channels.

The satellite television provider argues that the media giant is “demanding tens of millions of dollars in rate increases that would affect customers, while it devalues its product by making programming available elsewhere, even as viewership declines.”

Local affiliates not being seen thanks to the dispute include:
KOAT in Albuquerque, New Mexico
WBAL in Baltimore, Maryland
WVTM in Birmingham, Alabama
WCVB and WMUR in Boston, Massachusetts
WNNE and WPTZ in Burlington, Vermont
WLWT in Cincinatti, Ohio
KCCI in Des Moines, Iowa
WBBH in Fory Myers, Florida
KHBS, KHBSD and KHOG in Fort Smith, Arkansas
WCWG and WXII in Greensboro, North Carolina
WYFF in Greenville, South Carolina

The latest dispute comes after Disney removed its portfolio of television networks from Spectrum on Aug. 31 after failing to reach a carriage agreement with its parent company Charter Communications. Additionally, Nexstar is in a carriage dispute with DirecTV, which resulted in the removal of 159 of its local TV stations across 113 markets in July.

“It’s a broken system. As programmers continue to hold distributors hostage, customers will end up being impacted the most. We’ll continue to negotiate for a fair deal to provide the best value for our customers,” Schanman added. “Hearst is an important long-term partner for us, and we hope they’ll come to a reasonable agreement and restore their channels for our customers as quickly as possible.”

ABC and CBS could not be viewed by ATT Uverse or Direct as of last Sat....but by Sunday morning the issue had been resolved for CBS....but still no ABC.....!!!

I live in the Houston TV market and have DirecTV* ... no issues with the local ABC and CBS affiliates ... but their owners do not (at this time) have a carriage fee dispute with DirecTV.

*planning to switch to YouTubeTV

You can get the locals with nothing but a $20 OTA digital antenna. You don't have to have to have any service. I hate switching the input as it's more effort than using the regular remote, but it's not like you can't watch unless you live in the boondocks.

Yeah I live in Portugal so.....

Joking aside some of you that are feeling desperate with these greedy corporate carriage disputes, here is a good OTA antenna that you may still be able to get with Amazon same-day delivery. Walmart+ may have options as well delivering directly from a local store: https://a.co/d/1B0lfgw

If you’ve never used one, it’s very easy - just plug in your address here and you’ll see a map at the bottom of the page showing which direction your local antennas are. As long as you aren’t outside of the metro area, the antenna above will work. All TVs these days have digital OTA coax input. The antenna plugs right in and you just need USB power. (Can use old cell phone USB charger or even the TV itself may have a port for power.) Antenna Signal Prediction

I have Sling so I could get the Long Horn Network but it doesn't have ABC.
Looks like I'll be streaming the radio feed.
I listened to the Bama game on the radio. I remember the pre-CFA days when most games weren’t on TV, so listening was not a problem for me. Craig does a really good job, IMO.

The local ABC Affiliate came in OTA from Lake Waco without issue.
Sark actually patrolled the sidelines last night with a purpose. He looked driven and in command

Cream Soda Baby!!

thanks for suggestions.. I on a flight during game but found game on ESPN+ this afternoon.
