Baylor game is another 11 o'clock kickoff - WHY???

Alas, our star has faded and the much vaunted Burnt Orange Media Conspiracy ran out of gas, ran off the rails, jumped the barrier, plunged into the deep blue sea and sank without a trace. It was nice while it lasted.

And yeah, because we kinda suck.

We had plenty of shots this year to put us in Prime Time mode, but we pissed away those chances by snagging defeat from the jaws of victory. Win 2 of those 4 losses and our slots improve. But - we earned the 11am slot, so let’s own it.

Remember when beating ou 49-0 was great? Well, now, they are wrapping up a season that will be their worst since Stoops's first season, 1999 when they went 7-5.

11 kickoff on Black Friday gives you time to go to the game and then get in some shopping afterwards. Blow some time and then blow some cash. Think of the poor Longhorn fans in California who have to finish breakfast before watching our 9 am kickoff.

I regret to note that I will be in the air flying from a week in Virginia with my grandkids and will miss the game.

On the bright side: in a couple of years we will be playing the aggies on Thanksgiving Day most likely. God, I love that game, particularly when it is in College Station. The pomp, the military surroundings, the Cult activities, the Collie and the howitzer. The only downside is having to respond to all those effing "howdies"

I can hardly wait.

I'm not sure on Thanksgiving day but some time over the weekend holiday yes. The tradition was about playing them not a game. You can't manufacture tradition.
