Baylor down 13 to CU at the half

I guess Baylor wants the NCAA committee to take a longer look at them. They'd probably make it in anyway, with 20 wins, 9 wins in conference, and wins over Notre Dame (neutral), at A&M and home to KSU, but losing to the lowly Buffs would provide a lot of unnecessary stress. That would make Baylor 5-7 in their last 12.

This tournament always makes me mad. We have to play OSU again after we already F'd them up twice. Colorado is trying to F UP the big 12's NCAA tourny bids and basically somebody gets banged up or hurt. Good thing the Schools get paid at the expense of our kids.

Baylor is going to come back and win this game. sCUm is already playing not to lose.

I'd prefer to see Baylor win it. On the Baylor site, they reported on last evening's loss by the Lady Bears, and in that article they talked of the 'upsets' in the Big 12 women's tourney by saying that Oklahoma got beat by "the worst team in the Big 12." I guess that's based on seeding.

Now that the men's team has lost to, arguably (and by seeding), "the worst team in the Big 12", I'll be interested in reading how they characterize CU.

The battle for who wants the win the least. Check out Dien (sp?). He is loafing around like he is drunk. Colorado just keeps chucking up long crappy shots like the fat kid who doesn't want to run and can't shoot free throws. Baylor rebounds about as well as a one armed guy with a broken collar bone.

A loss here would definitely put their tournament bid in some doubt. I still think they get in, but it at least becomes more debatable. The Bears need to get this one in OT.

First 12 seed to win in the history of the tournament.

I like the way Scott Drew coached from behind the entire game. Another moral victory for the Baylor program.

I've seen good teams get bounced from the Dance because of losses like this. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite the Bears.
