Battlestar Galactica

That would be my fault. It was an accident. I went to make a post and hit the wrong button out of glee. It was a mistake I could not fix and one too ashamed to bring up. But you caught me you frakin toaster. God's help me.

Shush. I have it taped but am gonna head up to a friends when he gets off work and watch it there. I guess I should not check this thread till much later...carry on. Ugh, it sucks knowing it is going on or recorded and I am not watching it.

I hate my friend who turned me on to this show.

The retinal scan by the Cylon during the dog fight was cool, but more importantly who was the HC who fracked Baltar?

I had been getting tired of the show at the end of last season, but that was a really good episode.

So what are the odds that the entire human race is just descendants of human form cylons? All this prophecy stuff is cyclical right, its all happened before and it will all happen again. The current 12 human cylon models will correspond to the gods and the cycle will start anew on earth after the humans and cylons realize they are all the same.

I still can't get my arms around "All Along the Watchtower" being the most recently outed Cylons' musical trigger.

Indeed the maneuvering of the Cylon ship in that sequence was awesome. I thought that Deanna would be woken up but a friend reminded me she left the show so I guess that is out.

SPOILERS OF THE TRAILER FOR THE NEXT EPISODE

Six telling the preacher to stop the lobotomy of the Raiders was intriguing. Ominous too. I adore the role of Six not just for her beauty. And with God/Gods healing that child or whatever the frak happened. I dunno but I can't wait till next episode.

If there were any doubt that Starbuck is not a cylon, the fact that her first bright idea was to hold a gun to the President's head in the Admiral's quarters should seal it.

Starbuck holding a gun to the President's head is too convenient for me. I don't know who she is, but I have a hard time buying that it's Cylon.

And Loop, don't dismay, according to a "Girls of BSG" panel at comic-con, D'Anna/#3 will be unboxed at some point this season. It was something I watched at sci-fi.com.

Ty SoS.

I forget what it was said that Starbuck is in Razor but she was given a title. But it was not good and she was going to lead humanity to its end. That was what the Cylon brain thing said. Gonna have to go watch Razor again.

I can't wait for Friday.

Well, the hybrid said, "Kara Thrace will lead humanity to its end."

I think it could be argued that it means Kara will lead humanity to Earth if Earth is the final or end destination.

SPOILER-SPOILER-SPOILER

I rewound the scene of the Centurions attacking the other 3 skin jobs a couple of times. I could not believe it. Great shooting, the cinematography, that is. Six is freaking amazing. This cannot end well.

The depth of the writing on this show continues to be excellent. (This is not to be confused with some of the hokey dialogue). For example, who would have predicted that the Cylons are now having their own revolution where the lower classes (Raiders and Centurions) are rebelling against their Masters. This is just like the Cylons rebelling against the Humans 30 years previously. Genius!

loop is a skin job.

Ok, so this thread has been quiet for a few weeks, but I am JUST NOW caught up on the show.

I finally got to watch all of season 3 because they aired all the episodes from the 1st season on before this season started. I just watched the first 4 or so episodes from this season as well.

Ok, so I already had read a spoiler about the 4 cylons and whatnot, but the way they revealed it was, imo, the worst thing they have done so far.

I really think they should have played it out over at least a couple of episodes. Instead, they hear some music, they all show up in the same place, then Chief says, "Well, that's it. We're Cylons." Such a big twist should have been handled better imo.

So, here's my theory about the 5th Cylon. It's not a spoiler because it's my opinion.

It's the President. I am sure it's not Kara, too obvious. It's not Admiral Adama because he has a documented history as far back as the first Cylon war. I don't think it can be Lee either since I think the Admiral would know if his wife did not give birth to his son.

The one thing that keeps me from believing it to be the President is her cancer. I think she keeps getting sick because she is actually the first skin job, and she had not been perfected yet.

She has no documented history other than she was a "teacher". In fact, I am beginning to believe that the Cylons intentionally let the Galactica escape precisely because she was on the ship, and knew that she would be in a position to become the president.

Anyway, that's my thought. Anyone else agree/disagree?

I think the bigwig was THE president of the colonies and was not her husband, just boyfriend or lover. I don't think their relationship was public.

The cylon don't know or did not know the others were on board, lest of all, her. I don't think that checks out in the above theory.

Somebody had suggested Felix. I am leaning that way.

What I mean by "documented history" is that it has not been shown via a flashback.

The only flashback I can remember was when she saw Baltar with Six before the attacks. I could be wrong though.

**********Spoilers Below***********
Ok, so from next weeks previews...
The hybrid says that Starbuck is "the harbinger of death, you will lead them to their end" right? I think that's what I heard but couldn't get closed captioning to work on that bit.
Also, there was a scene of Baltar in a resurrection pod. Maybe Starbuck isn't a cylon afterall.
