Spoilers:
So I just finished the series (I think I did at least). Some questions and observations.
- Is season 4.5 the end - they found our earth and sent the ships into the sun - are more episodes planned i saw something about 2010 release.
- The end was retarded, but lots of the things the writers took for granted were silly - you had to accept that this was the softest of soft science fiction. I.e. faster than light travel, antigravity fields but no regeneration, no nanotechnology, no cure for breast cancer.
- Sure.. everyone split up and live off the land 'to give us the est chance to survive' - silly.
- the hottest chick in a series of hot women wass the girl in Razor.
- I was impressed how they intertwined religion and science throughout the show.
- I found myself dying to find out who the Cylons were.
- So many different social probelms discussed - racism, abortion, religious persecution, classism, murder, war, forgiveness
- As an ex-Naval officer I liked how they pretended the Battlestar was an Aircraft carrier. Some of the things they did were cringe worthy but much of it was cool.
- They had lots of situations only military officers could fully appreciate and i found myself asking what I would have done in the same situation many times.
- The other earth was nuked and only cylon bodies were there - who did the nuking? Humans? Which humans?
- The second hottest chick was the asian cylon.
- I think integration between the rebel cylons and the humans would have been a little easier than protrayed given the fact that the rebel cylons were 2/3 hot, dirty, always ready for sex, 20 something chicks who never got old.
So overall, good show.
