Bathroom remodling help...

The wife and I are looking to remodel the bathroom in steps. The first step is to increase the size of our walk in shower. There is what appears to be an empty hollow space behind the shower that we hope to be able to expand the shower into. Does anyone have any recs for people to talk to to assess the feasibility of our idea?

At the minimum, assuming its possible, we'd have to demo a wall, create a new one, and reroute some plumbing, none of which I want any part of doing it myself.

where are you located?
the job sounds pretty simple. you'll probably wnat to move the drain to accomodate the larger shower, but that seems like most intrusive work.
you're sure the dead space isn't a chase containing any a/c or anything?

Try calling Rick Ballard. He is a great contractor. He's not cheap, but it will be done extremely well. Everyone I know uses him and continue to do so. He works alone and stays at each job until it is completely finished, so you usually have to wait in line for a bit. RB Company - 335-0309
