Here are the newest Longhorn commits, signing today. Great group of six. What I'm excited to see is a couple of guys Tommy says can pitch in the mid 90s which is awesome, but concerns me because I would think the pros would be all over that and make sure to sign 'em.
What are the expectations of signing these guys and anyone else's thoughts who might have been following these guys.

Even if you sign your LOI, can you still go pro if you don't step foot on campus?

Yes. As those of us who have followed Texas baseball have learned, you cannot count on a player until his butt is in his seat on the first day of class.

Actually the last day that a player can sign is August 15th-it is not like the old days anymore.

The point is still the same. There is no point in speculating about who will be on the team next year until August 15th. I usually wait until January or so to get interested since you can still lose a kid to grades or other things...

i agree too...seems like a lot of kids used to find ways to sign if demand for them was there
